Books and Authors: What is with all this hype over The Hunger Games?

first person seems a little one sided, true, but the hunger games is seriously an amazing story. and it doesnt end in a complete happily ever after so it's more real life. it makes you think and feel, and there's so many tragedies but reliefs. the story carries everything. the third book, mockingjay, it made me so angry with how it ended but i accepted but if it was any other way then it wouldnt be the same, and it made it more real life. you should read it.
