Does my friend have a crush on me ?

I think my friend might fancy me but I'm not sure . The other day when I was with him he kept holding my hands , hugging me and flirting etc every 2 seconds . Then the next day when we were sitting my other friend mentioned my crush he went all silent and looked pretty upset . Does he like me ? I do kinda like him so if he did it wouldn't be too bad either way . Let me know what you think before I do anything stupid .
