How long do maraschino cherries last after you open jar but keep in the fridge?

And if you know ,how long is shelve life before opening? Because i bought a jar like 6 months ago and i can't make out the expiration on it. It looks like ...sell before ? / 15 / 2013. ???could that be right?[ p s ..taste o.k.,lol]
