Is it true that the older you get...?

the more attractive you become? Because growing up, especially middle school, I was never fancied by guys and bullied for my looks... Now that I'm 17, all these guys are telling me how pretty I am and I'm not sure if I want to believe it. Has this happened to anyone else?
