What's the best laptop to get ?

I don't need a really hi-tec one, I just a need one that's quick and easy. I've used the macbook pro before and as far as I know, its pretty easy and fast plus I like the design. Since I don't need anything fancy, I was thinking about getting the cheapest macbook. Should I, or are there a lot of disadvantages? If yes, what other laptops are good?
